Evidence that John was related to another family in the area - William (possibly his brother) and Anne Jones, living at Ty Llwyd Bach, near Gloddaeth Isa Farm, which is where John and Anne could have lived before moving to Bryn-y-Parc.  John and Anne also lived in Llangwstenin Parish.

Children - Elizabeth, Ann (b. 1815), John (b. 1811), William (b. 1821) - maybe more. William became a miner and John a stonemason. They lived at Pen-y-Parc for several years where children John (b. 1846), Ann (b. 1848).  John and Anne Jones lived at Pen-y-Parc until deaths in April 1854 and May 1860 respectively - buried in Llanrhos Cemetary.

For Tan-y-Wal an Elizabeth Jones whose daughter Anne married a Richard Hughes.  Elizabeth's maiden name was Williams and her husband was John Jones, a stone mason, son of John and Ann Jones of Pen-y-Parc.  Elizabeth had been a farm servant at Penrhyn Farm at Llanrhos. John is thought to have been born in Llangwstenin.  Elizabeth Williams (b. 1812) was from Caerhun in Conwy Valley. Kids - Anne (b. 1847), Joseph (b. 1849, died in infancy), Pierce (b. 1850), William (b. 1853), John (b. 1857). Bryn-y-Gwynt on Bryngwynt Lane is one of the oldest dwellings in Penrhynside, first appearing in records as a habitation in 1826. The Robert Jones family (Robert was a Miner in 1841, probably working in the Great Orme Copper Mines) had moved into the building by 1840.  They shared the building with Hugh Hughes and Richard Hughes (Mr Dibble thinks Richard may have been the brother of Hugh), Richard's wife Mary, and daughter Mary.

This family was extracted on account of John's age and place of birth.  It may not be the correct John Jones and if this is the case details in the family tree will have to be changed.  Locating this John's marriage certificate and identifying his father will solve the problem.
